This year PKF survey includes over 1,094 hotels extending over many countries throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. There are a number of new countries in the survey this year, including Portugal and Denmark.
In 2007, the hotels in PKF survey delivered an overall growth in rooms yield of 8.0% to €90.52 as occupancy rose 1.5% to 71.5%. The strength in demand assisted an increase in average achieved room rate (AARR) increasing to €126.65, a 6.4% growth on the previous year. The hotels in the Middle East continue to shine with impressive improvement in rooms yield compared to Europe and Africa.
